This download package includes two different types of voicebank. They are standard CV and Triphones/VCV. Standard version is useful and suitable for all users(includes beginners). On the other hand, VCV version brings you more "quality" and "realistic" vocal. Tetsune Mai VCV is a standalone bank. So, you do not need to use CV when you use only VCV.
